Virtual Opportunities

T3 is not a virtual conference and we do not have dedicated support for virtual participation, however, were excited to offer a number of virtual options for those who would like to/are able to participate in these ways. We welcomed our friends at a distance who could not make it to De Pere for the day and many of these were recorded. This page collects those virtual recordings into one place.

Virtually Connecting – 11am

All times are local to the conference venue: Central Daylight Savings Time

We are excited to partner with our buddies at Virtually Connecting to bring a virtual hallway conversation! VConnecting is a global network of educators, technologists, and scholars who remotely connect with those who are attending conferences all over the globe to bring in outside perspectives.

Lunch Panel: Student Reactions to the Keynote – 12:30pm ish

All times are local to the conference venue: Central Daylight Savings Time. This panel will take place over lunch and is slated to get started after everyone gets lunch and gets settled. Lunch starts at 12noon and we expect to get started around 12:30 though that time may flux a little earlier or later depending on the situation.

With our focus on student voice this year we are excited to host a student panel to hear their reactions to Robin DeRosa’s morning keynote. Dr. Laurie MacDiarmid will moderate a discussion with a group of students who are attending T3. Read more about this session on the Sched page.

Digital Competencies and the Liberal Arts Mission – Bryn Mawr College – 2:15pm

All times are local to the conference venue: Central Daylight Savings Time. This is one of our break out sessions with multiple virtual presenters. This is a bit different than a session that we are live streaming because the main purpose is to bring the presenters in from afar for the onsite audience. However, because part of the session requires this live feed we are bringing it to a wider audience.

Our presenters from Bryn Mawr College were busy putting on their own conference – their Blended Learning in the Liberal Arts Conference is May 23 – 24th! They are taking time out of their busy planning to present on the Bryn Mawr Digital Competencies Framework. Read more about their session on the Sched page for this session.
